Immersion Ultrasonic Washers
Five Different size Immersion Washers Designed To Meet Your Specific Needs!
An immersion parts washer consists of a single tank or a series of tanks. Parts are loaded into a basket, submerged, and vertically agitated for cleaning. This washer cleans intricate parts and components with blind holes or passageways. This consists of parts you cannot disassemble or require long soaking cycles to remove the contaminants like rust or carbon.
Manually cleaning parts with complex geometries requires a lot of time and doesn’t guarantee the cleanliness of complex parts. A spray parts washer is also ineffective as these are “line of sight.” However, an immersion parts washer penetrates all areas, effectively cleaning complex parts with consistent results in less time.
In an immersion parts washer, parts are placed on a platform and submerged entirely into the heated cleaning solution tank. Once immersed, the vertical agitation forces the cleaning solution into the crevices of the component to flush out debris and contaminants. Cleaning results are enhanced by spraying under immersion bath turbulence or through ultrasonics.
An ultrasonic parts washer is highly effective in removing metal particles/chips, carbon deposits, and calcium deposits. It is also ideal for buffing or lapping compounds, wax, paint, and rust. The immersion cleaning process varies by application and can include heated or vacuum drying.
Furthermore, Better Engineering’s immersion parts washer can consist of complete automation. Our system can employ vertical agitation with basket rotation if vertical agitation is insufficient.
