Background
In a doctor's office and throughout any hospital or medical facility, one sees plastic containers hanging on the wall for depositing used hypodermic needles....there are other containers on the floor for gloves, blood-stained items, etc...these containers need to be emptied and cleaned on a regular basis.
Problem
The application poses many challenges...high volume...many different container and lid sizes...must maintain high temperatures to sanitize the containers...filter screens to trap any items washed-out of the containers...easy/safe access for inspection...all parameters recorded...automatic shut-down if minimum parameters are not met.
Solution
An automatic belt washing system with four (4) different product lanes...the dividers for each lane are adjustable for the different size containers and have fold-down bars for the lids...spray and dry manifolds are designed to wash and dry the containers without blowing them over...the process temperatures are always above 180° F for sanitization.
System
A C-48 Cyber-Jet unit which has a 48" wide conveyor belt...all wetted parts of the system are grade 316 stainless steel...three (3) modules (wash, rinse/sanitize, and dry)...available in gas or steam heat...access doors on both sides of the canopies...special filter screens in all sections of the system.
