This company has manufactured and serviced aircraft components for over 55 years...today they employ 20,000 people at 100 facilities in 16 countries...they manufacture and service landing gear, wheel and brake assemblies, actuator systems, etc...
PROBLEM
At their landing gear service centers, the customer needed
batch loaded cleaning systems that can clean the main landing
gear assembly prior to inspection.
 SOLUTION/SYSTEM
Use a turntable style spray washer that is big enough to accept
the entire "T" shaped hydraulic assembly...a fixture was
designed for the turntable that allows the piece to be safely
loaded and supported...the spray manifolds were customized for
the parts in question. F-4000-LX-P “Purifier”...a jet washing
system with a 40” diameter turntable
and 60” of inside working height...the
unit automatically progresses through
wash, rinse, and dry stages...all wetted
parts are stainless steel....7.5 HP
wash pump outputs 150 GPM at 60 PSI.
